Solo Gamers Meet ups at Manchester Board Game Festival

Coming to MBGF on your own? You're not alone!

Our Solo Gamers Meet Up is designed to help solo attendees find a table, meet fellow gamers, and jump straight into a game together.

Meet at the Welcome Desk **5 minutes before your booked session**, where a member of the festival crew will introduce everyone before heading over to the Games Library to choose something to play.

There's no pre-selected game—the group will decide together, with recommendations.

Choose the session that best suits your preferred style of game:

Light Games– Easy to learn, relaxed, and quick to get playing.

Medium Games – A little more strategy, without being overwhelming.

Heavy Games – For those looking for a deeper, more challenging gaming experience.

Whether it's your first MBGF or you're a regular attending solo, this is a relaxed, welcoming way to meet new people and enjoy some great games together.
