Our Charity Prize Pool is shared across the Tombola, Pub Quiz, and Bingo, with all proceeds donated to our chosen charity. The prizes have been generously donated by businesses, traders, publishers, and members of the board gaming community—thank you for your support.

You can donate using cash in the charity donation buckets or via the QR code on the Charity page of the programme, which links directly to our JustGiving campaign. If donating online, please keep your donation receipt handy so a member of the crew can verify it before issuing your tickets.
James' now-infamous Board Game Pub Quiz has been a staple of D&F's larger events since 2017 and returns on Saturday from 3pm–4pm. Check the programme for the location.
Taking part costs just a £1 charity donation per person, either via the cash donation buckets or by using the QR code in the programme to donate through JustGiving.
Expect a fun mix of general knowledge, board gaming trivia, and geeky-themed rounds, with plenty of opportunities to show off your knowledge and have a laugh with friends.
The winning team will receive four Charity Prize Pool vouchers, each redeemable for a prize of their choice from the Charity Prize Pool.
The Charity Board Game Bingo takes place on Sunday at 3pm. Check the programme for the location.

The Festival Raffle is another long-running D&F tradition, having featured at our larger events since 2017. Unlike our charity activities, proceeds from the raffle are reinvested directly into the festival, helping us improve future events and keep bringing you great gaming experiences.
The raffle draw takes place at 5pm on Sunday check the programme for the location. Tickets are £1 each or 5 for £4 and can be purchased throughout the weekend from the Welcome Desk using either cash or card.
All raffle prizes are sourced by D&F and will be on display during the festival.
Please note: You must be present for the draw or have someone attending as your proxy. Any prizes not claimed when drawn will be redrawn.
The Play to Win Shelf can be found in the Games Library and features a selection of games generously donated by publishers from around the world.
Simply check out a Play to Win game from the Library Desk and give it a play. When you return the game, each player who took part will receive a raffle ticket to place into that game's ballot box, giving them a chance to win their very own copy.
The draw takes place alongside the Festival Raffle at 5pm on Sunday. Check the programme for the location.
Play to Win Rules
To keep Play to Win fair and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these rules:
Only one Play to Win game per table may be checked out at a time.
Play to Win games must be actively played. Please don't check one out until you're ready to get it to the table. Unplayed games may be returned to the library by crew members.
All players must be present when the game is checked out to receive a raffle ticket.
Winners must be present at the draw or have a proxy available to claim the prize. Any unclaimed prizes will be redrawn.
The Playtest Tables at MBGF are available on a drop-in basis and give you the chance to try out games that are still in development from up-and-coming board game designers.
Not only will you get an early look at exciting new games, but you'll also have the opportunity to provide valuable feedback that helps designers improve their creations before publication.
As a thank you for taking part, anyone who plays a playtest game and submits feedback will be entered into a prize draw to win a free full-event ticket to the next Manchester Board Game Festival.
Check the programme for the location of the Playtest Tables. Once you've played a game, simply scan the QR code provided to submit your feedback and enter the prize draw.
